  • Test fitting the Bede BD-4C tail cone to the back of the fuselage.
  • My first TC-1 (the back of the tail cone) was too wide so it would not fit all the way down, leaving a gap at the bottom.
  • Not only was the first TC-1 (the back of the tail cone) too wide, it was also too tall. Since it was too tall and would not fit all the way down, it stuck up out of the top of the tail cone more than 1/10th of an inch.
  • The three pieces that I built, from largest to smallest: TC-3 (bottom of tail cone), TC-2 (top of tail cone), and TC-1 (back of tail cone).
  • All five pieces of the tail cone with all holes drilled. It is ready to go onto the fuselage but I am waiting for some backordered nutplates to attach it.
